Il Mediterraneo si è innalzato di circa 30 cm negli ultimi 1.000 anni rispetto a un aumento più che triplo previsto nei prossimi 100 anni dal gruppo intergovernativo sul cambiamento climatico delle Nazioni Unite (IPCC).
